Where are you located?
We have two distribution warehouses, one on each coast to provide fast free shipping to most locations.
Are your gun safes "waterproof"?
Our safes are not "waterproof". Most of our models however will sustain water spray from an overhead sprinkler system and/or from a fire hose.
Can my gun safe be secured to the floor or ground?
Yes, Steelwater Gun Safes come with (4) pre-drilled 1/2" anchor holes and (4) lag bolts. We highly recommend securing your Steelwater Gun Safe to the floor not only for added security but for safety and warranty purposes.
Do you make custom safes?
No, we do not manufacture custom safes.
Do you have any models that the door swings to the left when in the open position?
No, we do not carry any models that have a left swinging door.
Are your gun safes refurbished?
No, all of our safes are brand new and have never been sold.
Do you have any "scratch and dent" specials?
No, we do not sell any scratched or dented safes.
Combination Gun Safes, Electronic Lock Gun Safes and Keys
What kind of combination lock is used on your gun safes?
We use high quality LaGard Group II UL Listed 3 wheel key changeable locks.
What kind of electronic locks are available for upgrade?
We primarily use the LaGard Basic II keypad but will substitute the S&G ZO2 electronic locks when advanced functions/features are required. Both locks are UL Listed.
What is the warranty on your electronic locks?

Payment Options and Discounts
Do you have wholesale prices?
At this time we do not have wholesales prices.
Do you offer a discount on multiple gun safe purchases?
Yes. All multi-safe purchases are handled on a case by case basis based on stock, quantity, etc.
Do you take personal checks, money orders or cashier checks?
Yes. The gun safe WILL NOT be shipped until check is received and payment clears the bank approximately 7-14 business days.
Shipping, Tracking and Installation
Your shipping is free, does that include inside delivery?
Our free shipping does include garage delivery when available. Please read our "Shipping Policy" under the Help Center for addition details and exclusions. Inside delivery is available for an additional fee, please contact a Steelwater Gun Safes Representative for more information.
How do I move my gun safe inside my house?
Steelwater Safes does offer “White Glove Delivery Services” for an additional fee; please contact a Steelwater Gun Safes Representative for additional information. As a secondary option we recommend that you contact a local moving company to have your safe moved in your house/office. They will have the tools, experience and manpower to move your safe.
Can I pick the gun safe up from your warehouse?
At this time our warehouse policies do not allow for personal pick-ups or "will calls". You may contact the freight company shipping your safe and make arrangements to pick your safe up at the local terminal.
How do you track your order?
After your order has been received and processed, usually 1-2 business days, you will be sent an e-mailed containing the carriers name and a tracking number. If you do not receive a tracking number you may call us and we will provide you a tracking number over the phone along with track your order for you.
